About Bean World

Like many great creative concepts, the beans began life as a doodle on a napkin during a meal consisting of a big plate of baked beans with tomato sauce.

The very next day the first cute beans were drawn, and Bean World was born.

At first, the bean family was still alone in its little world.

But over time, Bean World grew and more and more friends joined them.

Up to now over 300 different beans live in Bean World and there are always more!

In 2005, the beans decided to go on a journey to learn more about other countries and to find new friends. The beans traveled to Japan.

In 2006, the beans opened their first official Bean World store in a big amusement park near Tokyo.

In 2007, the beans began their television career in the Japanese television with 13 exciting stories from Bean World.

In 2008, the first of 9 Bean World books were published in Japan.

In 2012, the beans hear from a land of smiles, which is also called China.

The Beans decided again to go on a journey to China to find more and more new friends. Surely they will conquer the hearts again here!

In 2013, a small group of sailor beans stranded in a country, which is called by its inhabitants as Turkey.

The newcomers were received warmly and lovingly by the Turkish beans.

Quickly the message spread in Bean World that a new beautiful country was discovered.

Since the beans are a very curious little people, many beans started immediately getting to know this new oriental country with its peculiarities.

Certainly they will find a lot of new friends in Turkey!
